Village History Display

The Village History Display will open on Saturday 14 May at the Spring Fayre.

The History Group is delighted to invite you to come along to the Village Hall and view a completely new, extensive and interesting display of the history of the village. The display features:

  • A map and story of the village illustrating how things have changed over the years
  • Extensive information on The Men on the Fringford War Memorial
  • A new exhibition of the Village during the time of Flora Thompson (Based on Martin Greenwood’s new book)

The Group plans to continue to develop its research and cover many topics such as schools, agriculture, war time evacuees and archaeology and all villagers are invited to get involved.
