The annual Fayres take place on the Village Green on Saturdays , between 1pm and 5pm.These have been either in the Spring or in the Autumn. Date for 2024 is Saturday 7th September.
This fun-filled afternoon revolves around the fun dog show in our unique straw-baled arena. The Autumn fayre features a home-grown produce show & competition in the large marquee. There are plenty of other attractions including a traditional country crafts: spinning & weaving, blacksmithing, thatching. Games to play, stuff to buy, vintage cars to ogle and a BBQ and bar open all afternoon; plus, our famed tea and cakes from the Candleford café in the Village Hall.
