Shelswell W.I. was formed in 1990, by a small group of local women who decided there was a need for a WI to cater for younger women. We continue to attract a younger age group and those young at heart, who prefer a more relaxed, informal atmosphere. Members come from all the surrounding villages and also from Bicester.
We are a friendly, lively group of women from varied backgrounds who enjoy a monthly get together to hear a speaker and socialise with friends.
The group meets on the first Thursday of each month at 7.30pm in Fringford Village hall (unless stated otherwise)
It’s a great way to meet new people and make new friends. We’d love to see you.
Prospective members may come for two meetings and are asked for £1 for refreshments. Visitors are subsequently invited to join and become fully paid up members.
Just come to the next meeting or for further information contact Sandra Bickmore 07961 828571
Annual subscription for 2026/7 is £54, due in April 2026. Dual membership is £27.10.
