Oxford to Cambridge Expressway

 

The National Infrastructure Commission have recommended the above as a strategic development with the intention to build a further 1.2 million houses along its length.

 

Currently there are 3 corridors that have been proposed as per the map . The decision on which corridor is due to be made by July 2018 followed the route options after a public consultation which will be completed by 2020.

 

As seen from the map below the most westerly option will run from the Stratton Audley crossroads up the A4421 to join the Finmere By Pass.
