Cherwell District Council Local Plan
Over the last two years, Cherwell District Council has consulted on Local Plan Parts one and two.
A Call for Sites was requested at the time of the initial consultation for Local Plan Part 2 (Spring 2016). One new site at Fringford Cottage was submitted during this time. Cherwell District Council has all the information on their website. The Parish followed up its earlier response with a further response in August 2016.
The consultation which took place between 14 November 2016 and 9 January 2017 was a partial review of the Local Plan Part 1 in relation to Oxford’s Unmet Housing Need and the Parish response to the consultation is available – Response to the Partial Review of Local Plan Part 1 – CDC Consultation – January 2017No sites have been identified to accommodate Oxford’s unmet housing need in Fringford.
Following the Local Plan Part 1 review, Local Plan Part 2 (which looks at the rural area in more detail) will have further consultation in 2017.
